Introduction to the little old me

Welcome to the little world of me

Although its not very exciting I guess ill start with introducing myself.

My name is Cliodhna Moore and I am your average 20. I'm not exactly the best with words and I cant spell if my life depended on it. I consider myself very artistic and a creative person ask me to do a maths question for you ill say no way ask me to design something for you ill say hand me a paintbrush. So what I am is a small girl with a big personality so hopefully I can entertain some of you.

My purpose to creating this blog is to share my experience in the world of creative digital media and my journey to hopefully becoming a game designer. I am currently a second year collage student in TU Dublin studying creative digital media, And yes I was that person that didn't know what to do in collage so I am a late bloomer but I am here and ready to share my collage experiences with all you crazy people that feel the same as me.

The world of social media really excites and inspires me. I first found a interest through YouTube, Like I said I am your stereotypical 20  year old girl that loves makeup and beauty and I came across "Influencers" through watching endless hours of makeup videos on YouTube, there careers and endless possibilities they created for themselves really opened my eyes to the success social media can play on your life.

I really stand by the saying "If you love what you do will never work a day in your life", and because I am a small girl with a big personality the idea of confining my imagination and artist eye in a office 9-5 job couldn't appeal to me any less. So the idea to built myself a career that allows me to let my creativity run free and earn  money at the same time really inspires me. the only thing missing in my puzzle is, I just haven't found what that career might, be but join me on the journey to hopefully finding that path through the beautiful world of social media who knows I might just become a game designer after all.

  1. Hey Cliodhna! We already know each other well enough as we are in the same group this year so no need to introduce myself. One thing I learned from reading your blog is to never judge a book by its cover. If I seen you walking down the street I would never think by looking at you your dream job would be a Game Designer. I'll look forward to your future posts and to see how you develop as a Game Designer. Good Luck this semester!

I completely agree with you that if you love what you do you will never work a day in your life and I hope that you find your dream job one day and this becomes reality :) I am so glad that this college course has brought us together and I can't wait to read more of your posts.

  4. Hi Cliodhna,
Social Media is a really good tool to both earn money and enjoy doing it at the same time. I really do think is a great business to get in to and I have an interest for it too. But I have to say it is hard work unless you really do enjoy it.
Doing the YouTube video for one of our projects in first year I saw how confident you are in front of a camera and I'm pretty sure you will get where you want with Social Media!

  5. Hey Cliodhna,
Hope your keeping well. I really enjoyed reading this blog I learnt a lot about you from this blog. I'm the exact same way if someone were to ask me to do a maths problem I'd run the other way hahahah. I agree with the saying if you love something you won't work a day in your life. I can't wait to read more of your posts and best if luck through the rest of this semester.

  6. Hi Cliodhna, Just reading the first 2 lines of your introduction and i can totally relate I myself can't spell for my life and I consider myself artistic and creative too. And answering math questions in my head is a big no no just can not do that. I know Social Media is a very good way to earn money and also enjoy each bit of the way up I myself would love to go somewhere of that route too. Anyways have fun during the semester!

  7. Hey Cliodhna
I'm fairly sure I was actually the one going around and not knowing what to do. I also get what you mean how Youtube opened up your to a new career world, the same as me. Although I didn't watch make up vids like you, I completely understand how interesting it is watching other peoples life. it makes you want to pick up the camera and do the same. Don't worry I'm sure you'll make it as a game developer, no bother.

  8. Hi Cliodhna. First of it's a really beautiful name I love it so much. You are a really inspiring person and I can tell you're really passionate and optimistic about the future. I love watching makeup youtube videos as well even though I'm probably the most awful person at makeup. I completely agree with your quote, I used to do horrible in school but now that I have the ability to do whatever I want in my projects, I'm more motivated ! - Anna Zurawska

  11. Hey Cliodhna,

I think a lot of people are on the same boat of not knowing what they want to do for their career but if they have fun with creativity, I think we've chosen the right course. I'm also still deciding what I want to do but I still have a vague idea of what it might be. Keep pushing this semester we're almost done :)
